truly be a life-changing revelation. By the end of their ranch adventure,
a number of the teenagers want to stay on. As they return home with
increased knowledge and an array of new skills, they also exhibit
a transformed attitude, and a fresh perspective of their "real"
world.

ORGANIZED

Outdoor Ranch experiential learning process. River rafting, rope
courses, orienteering and back country survival training are among
the challenging adventures that reinforce lessons taught at the
ranch.

MATH LESSON might entail calculating the number of bales of
hay required to feed the cattle and horses; a geometry lesson
challenges the students to set up an irrigation system that reaches
every square foot of an entire field. 
A
VARIETY OF METHODS are used to teach living skills, such as
responsibility and teamwork. For example, chores are assigned
to each student. Their duties are essential to the smooth operation
of the ranch.
