I
was born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania a
suburb of Philadelphia.
Growing up I always had a love for the outdoors. I spent many
summers off camping with the Boy Scouts or road-tripping with
my parents all over the United
States.
On those adventures, I have been lucky enough to have visited
45 different states. I now live in Turah, Montana.
Since
college, I have been very active in the outdoors. In the winter
of 2000 I attended the National Outdoor Leadership School in
Tucson Arizona.
I spent 88 days in the back country solidifying my skills in backpacking,
climbing, caving and white water canoeing. This course made me
want to become an Outdoor Educator.
My
love for the outdoors has enabled me to participate in amazing
activities. I am very excited to work at the Jevne Outdoor Academy
this summer. I love having new experiences and meeting great
people from different walks of life. I feel like I have a lot
to share and a lot to learn from the kids.
Some
of my hobbies include; rock climbing, rafting, back packing, mountain
biking, woodworking, soccer, hunting and fishing. I have had
countless adventures doing all of these things, and I feel very
confident in my skill levels in each of them. Being able to share
my knowledge is an amazing opportunity.
